Welcome to the Hearts of the West team blog hop!

If this is your first time joining us you will love it. If you have been here before welcome back.  It features Close to my Heart Consultants from all over Canada showing you their projects. The Hearts of the West team was founded by Nancy Klein.

This months challenge is using the La Vie En Rose Paper Pack, brought to you from the Annual Inspirations.

La Vie En Rose Complements

La Vie En Rose Assortment

Workshops on the Go La Vie En Rose Scrapbooking Kit
If you came from Kerry's Blog then you're in the right place, this is a go around blog hop so you can start anywhere! Just in case, the full list will be at the bottom. So, as always, grab your coffee, tea, water, relax, and hop around the team with us.

I would like to share with you a few layouts I made using the La Vie En Rose Workshop on the Go.  Sorry for the poor pictures, lighting was bad and I left getting these done until the last moment.

Layout #1 using the La Vie En Rose Workshop on the Go.  I just love using the Workshops on the Go.  We will be making this layout at class/club in January.

Layout #2 using the Workshop on the Go as well.  We will also be making this layout at class/club in January.
Then I have a fun layout of pictures from my wedding.  We just celebrated our 10th Anniversary and we are still as crazy.

Layout #3 using some of the leftover paper from the workshop.  I also used extra white daisy, ruby and bamboo cardstock.  I used the Artbooking and Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridges to cut out the circle at 9" RDS and the title is cut at 1 1/4".  For stamp sets I use the workshop set, Big Hug, Stuck on You (new set that has a coordinating thin cuts die set), and Beloved Bouquet (January stamp of the month).  Inks used black, ruby, blush (retired), bamboo, and olive (retired).

Some close ups.  The sentiment "Plant a kiss on me."  is from the new Stuck on You set that is available starting tomorrow, January 1st.  The flowers and leaves are from the stamp of the month set, Beloved Bouquet.

The January Stamp of the Month is called Beloved Bouquet.  In January with a $50 qualifying purchase you can purchase it for $6.  It can also be purchased for $21.25 for the month of January only.

CTMH Featured Products Blog Hop

Hello and Welcome to our CTMH Featured Products Blog Hop

This week our featured product is the foil tape.

Silver Foil Tape

Gold Foil Tape

I am featuring the Gold foil tape.

If you have just joined us you can start here and continue on, as this is a circular hop or if you get lost along the way you can start at the beginning with Scrapbooking with Kirsten Jade  as she has the complete list.  If you came here from Sheila's Stamping Stuff you are in the right place.

Now on to my projects.  I will have a complete list of supplies for them at the end with links for where to purchase them.

First, I have a card using the Sangria paper pack and the Treats of Friendship stamp set.  I just love this stamp set and coloring it in.  The gold foil tape really adds a nice pop to this card.

Close up of the foil tape.

Then I have another card using the Sangria paper pack and the Wedding Day stamp set.  On this card I used the baby wipe technique as well to make my own background paper for the sentiment.  You can see that the gold foil tape is becoming slightly embossed from the embossed paper behind it.  You can put the foil tape on paper and emboss it and it is beautiful.

Lastly, I have a layout using the Urban paper pack.

Thank you for checking out my project. If you would like to purchase our featured product of the week or any additional supplies you can buy them here
